Experience
Participants are placed inside a real expedition - making decisions alongside our team, under genuine pressure, with real consequences within the simulation. The experience is available face-to-face, virtually, or in hybrid format, for any audience size.

The debrief is where the expedition becomes the curriculum. Our facilitators - many of whom completed the expeditions themselves- map every decision and breakthrough from the field to the specific leadership behaviours your organisation needs to develop.

What does Explore Performance do?
Explore Performance designs and delivers immersive leadership development programmes built on real expeditions - from summiting Everest to rowing the Tasman Sea. We use that expedition footage as the emotional backbone of every learning experience, creating the kind of impact that traditional training rarely achieves. Our programmes help organisations align leaders at scale, define and embed culture, drive growth ambitions, and navigate complex transformation. We have delivered to over 40,000 participants across 25 countries and were recognised with a Brandon Hall Gold Award for Best Learning and Development Programme in 2025.
Can Explore Performance deliver programmes virtually as well as in person?
Yes - all of our programmes are available face-to-face, virtually, and in hybrid formats. Virtual delivery maintains the full immersive experience: participants engage with real expedition footage, make live team decisions, and debrief with our facilitators in real time via Zoom or equivalent platforms. We have delivered virtual programmes to global audiences ranging from a single leadership team to thousands of participants running simultaneously across multiple time zones.
How long are your programmes - and what format is right for us?
Our programmes range from 30–60 minutes through to multi-month learning journeys, depending on your context and objectives. A 30–60 minute interactive keynote works well for large-scale conferences and kickoffs where you need high energy, inspiration, and a shared experience - but time is limited. Half-day and full-day experiences allow us to go deeper, with more time for the debrief and application back to the team’s real challenges. For maximum and lasting impact, we also design talent development programmes that span 6–12 months, combining in-person simulation experiences with virtual team coaching and momentum sessions in between. The right format depends on what you’re trying to achieve - we’re happy to advise.
Can a session be standalone or does it need to sit inside a bigger programme?
Either works. Many clients come to us for a single high-impact experience - a conference keynote, a leadership offsite, a team effectiveness session. Others embed our content into a multi-month learning journey where the simulation is one touchpoint in a broader programme of development. Our experiences are designed to work powerfully as standalone sessions and to connect seamlessly into larger curricula. Where is Explore Performance based and where do you deliver?
Explore Performance was founded in Singapore in 2018. Our office is on Amoy Street in Singapore’s CBD, and we also have offices in Dubai and the UK. But we are fundamentally a global company - in any given week our team is running programmes simultaneously across multiple continents. We have a team of 30+ facilitators based across APAC, EMEA, the UAE and the Americas, so we deliver locally, with local expertise, wherever your people are. Recent programmes have taken us to Las Vegas, London, Madrid, Sydney, Tokyo, Zurich, Dubai, New York, Paris and Singapore. We can also deliver programmes in local language, including Mandarin, Korean, French, German, Italian and Spanish.
